Secor Road Closure Begins January 3, 2023

Update August 22, 2023: construction has been completed and Secor Road is now open.
The City of Toledo, in conjunction with the Village of Ottawa Hills, will replace the bridge that carries Secor Road over the Ottawa River.
The Secor Road closure, which is from Valleston Pkwy. to Towerview Blvd., will begin on January 3, 2023. The project is expected to last approximately 7 months.
The project includes the replacement of the existing bridge and the installation of new approach pavement and sidewalks.
There will be a traffic detour from Bancroft Street to University Hills Boulevard to Douglas Road to Dorr Street during the closure. Detour signage will be placed in both directions. Please see the attached visual aids.
