The City of Toledo marks the beginning of Homeownership Month 2021, a time of year when we join the White House, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Housing Administration, and others to recognize the critical importance of homeownership and its impact upon the lives of Toledo families, neighborhoods, and the economy.

Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz joined other mayors across the nation this week and proclaimed June as Homeownership Month in the City of Toledo.

“We have programs and services in place to help make the dream of homeownership an attainable reality in our community,” Mayor Kapszukiewicz said.

“A home is the most significant family investment that creates generational wealth, and the Toledo Department of Neighborhoods works to help our residents achieve homeownership, and has also made the preservation of existing housing a priority,” said Rosalyn Clemens, Department of Neighborhoods director.
