Slain TPD Officer Brandon Stalker is being laid to rest today, with a funeral starting at 10 a.m. WTOL 11's 9 a.m. program includes tributes in memory of the 24-year-old officer, killed in the line of duty Jan. 18, 2021.
Route Information
Douglas Rd. will be closed from Dorr Street to University Hills Blvd. beginning early Tuesday morning. There will be long delays and road closures and we thank everyone for their patience.
We encourage residents to begin at 12 p.m. lining the procession route. The procession will end at Toledo Memorial Park (6382 Monroe Street).
Additional Information
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and capacity limits, the funeral will be open to Stalker Family and friends and law enforcement. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Media will be directed to park in Lot 4 where 13 ABC will again provide the pool camera. No media – including still photographers, videographers, etc - is to be inside Savage Arena or Toledo Memorial Park. This is per Stalker family wishes and will be enforced.
