On September 18, 2024 the Division of Building Inspection will replace the current permit application portal with a new system for permit applications, online plan review, and payments.

The current portal will be no longer be available beginning Thursday, September 12 at 4 p.m.

September 13: all records dating back to 2016 will be migrated to the new system.

September 18: you will need to create an account using the same email you use in the current portal to connect to those records.

If you need to apply for permits between September 13 and 18, you will need to submit those applications either in person at One Government Center, Suite 1600 or via email to toledobi@toledo.oh.gov.

If you have an account in the old system, but did not receive an email from us on Monday September 9, please call the Division of Building Inspection at 419-245-1220 and let us know that you need to update your email address in the permit application system.
