Carrie Hartman

Councilwoman At-Large || President of Council

Councilwoman Carrie Hartman was unanimously appointed as an at-large member of City Council on January 10, 2023. In November 2023, she was elected to fill the remainder of that unexpired term. At its organizational meeting, on January 2, 2024, Councilwoman Hartman was elected as President of Council.

Councilwoman Hartman is Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental & Administrative Services Committee, as well as a member of all other committees.

Carrie and her husband Steve live in the Historic Vistula neighborhood, adjacent to Downtown Toledo. Carrie is a proud public school graduate. She earned a Bachelor's degree in engineering from Iowa State University and a law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.
