The City of Toledo will resurface the intersection of Douglas and Monroe in 2026. We will also update signals and striping to increase pedestrian and driver safety.

Funding
The funding for this project is combined with the funding for the Cherry St. and Bancroft St. intersection. The total cost for both this resurfacing and the Cherry and Bancroft reconstruction project is $2.4 million.
These projects are supported by the state of Ohio.
