Sanitary Sewer 2025
Crews have been working since July to install the bypass and pump pit to access the sewer line, which is 45 feet underground.
September 2025 Update
Initially, we intended to make substantial repairs to the 48" sewer main. After we were able to see more of the pipe and assess the repairs, we have decided it is best to replace it. The change increases the overall project budget to $16 million and extends the anticipated completion date to June 2026.
Project Overview
In late 2024, two sinkholes appeared on Arlington Ave. Although there is already a reconstruction project scheduled for 2026, there is an immediate need for repairs to the sewer. We began this work in July 2025.
